Well you all have to remember though, either it be for a "personal" or 
as a "CMS" .. type site. Bookmarks seems so much better then just 
"links". Bookmarks represents "important" links to you the site owner, 
and highly visited links (by yourself) that you like and want others to 
check out and go to!

And please don't forget, that Bookmarks "name/title" whatever can always 
be edited in the wp-admin control panel. And plus, not every link will 
fit in under that "bookmarks" category section for links, and you'd make 
up other Link Category names too...
