[theme-reviewers] Page listed on Commercially Supported GPL Themes don't offer GPL Themes!

Most likely, they just didn't understand the GPL.  I know when I first 
got into developing themes, I was using a CC license because I simply 
didn't know any better.  Other theme devs were using it, so I just 
figured it was what I was supposed to use.  No one had explained 
licensing issues to me.  Heck, I don't even remember hearing about the 
GPL until I had been using WP for a couple of years.

Of course, I wasn't running a business at the time.  I was just a 
collage student wanting to learn about Web design.
