 A similar patch for WordPress went in in
 [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/10945 changeset 10945] during
 the 24 hour marathon.

 I also asked rmccue on IRC to look over the patch, and he believes I've
 covered everything. Requesting commit. :-)
