 Thanks for the functions, it gives me some good ideas about making it all
 extensible for plugins.

 I was always going to use mod_rewrite for the pretty stuff. My main
 concern is the old "normal" format and if/how we remain backwards
 compatible with that.

 You are right about the querystring parameter names.
