 This ticket was pretty active during 6.8 but wasn't shipped as there were
 still ongoing discussionThen it loses its momentum during 6.9

 By the way, comment:72 describes what appears to be the current consensus.
 I think we can keep it in the milestone, but we'll need at least a first
 workaround next week or so, since we definitely want to ship it asap (and
 of course before beta cycle).
