 - Browser: Chrome 144.0.0.0
 - OS: Linux
 - Theme: Twenty Twenty-Five 1.4
 - MU Plugins: None activated
 - Plugins:
   * Test Reports 1.2.1

 === Steps to Reproduce
 - The same steps as the reporter.

 === Actual Results
 1.  ✅ Error condition occurs (reproduced).
 2. The media count is wrong after uploading images.

 === Additional Notes
 - Tested using 4 images.
 - While I was able to reproduce the bug, that didn't happen on multiple
 occasions.
 - I would say this bug is really inconsistent and elusive.
