Comment:

 I attempted to apply the attached patch (class-wp-ms-sites-list-
 table.diff) against current trunk (7.0-alpha), but it could not be
 applied.

 The patch tool reports:
 - File to patch not found

 It appears the patch is too old and no longer matches the current file
 structure, so testing is not possible at this time. Because of this,
 keeping `needs-testing` is not actionable until the patch is refreshed.

 Since this ticket is quite old (~11 years), adding `reporter-feedback` as
 well to confirm whether this enhancement is still needed and whether the
 original approach is still desired for current multisite list tables.
