 Hi all,
 I have taken a look into this and replicated the steps mentioned on the
 latest version of WordPress to see if this issue still persists. In my
 tests with the block editor I can confirm that this is working now
 properly. For full coverage I did test with the classic editor (via the
 plugin) just to confirm if this issue was inherent to the previous page
 editor, and it looks like it still persists there. However as we have
 moved away from the classic issue, and WordPress is very much the block
 editor now, as of such this issue is legacy and therefore this ticket can
 be closed.
