Comment:

 It appears that this concern is still valid as `rel=canonical` still only
 applies to single, but I wonder if this should be left to extenders or
 this needs to be part of the core.

 In all, it appears that none of the last patches are applying as expected.
 `needs-refresh`

 Imagine if this conversation is old that @westonruter was talking about
 AMP.

 Adding a `2nd-opinion` to evaluate if this should move forward again.
