 Today, I was reviewing this ticket #36237, and I noticed something really
 strange (for me):

 In Quick Edit for Posts, Private status is only available when doing a
 Bulk edit, not in single edits like Publish or Scheduled.

 Looking backwards, I happen to find that this was introduced by @azaozz 17
 years ago in [8973] on a ticket discussed in #6815. But I can't see any
 references to why he personally decided to add "Private" exclusively for
 Bulk edits, and not for regular individual edits as well.

 Maybe someone could give me some light on this.

 In fact, other patches like the ones provided by

 and [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/6815/6815.2.diff
 Aaron], did not introduce this

 So, unless I'm wrong, it feels that this was pulled out of the hat a
 little at random.
