 Hi All,

 I have just taken a quick look into this, and it does appear to have been
 sorted with the release of Gutenberg. I have just tested in the latest
 release (but know this has been there for a good while now) and there are
 undo/redo buttons in the header. Also during my testing it does not appear
 that the autosave overwrites the draft anymore in the database. As of such
 I believe the issues mentioned over a decade ago have now been resolved,
 and we can safely `close` this ticket. 😃
