 I use classic editor only, so I cannot tell if this happens in Gutenberg.

 Nevertheless, this happens also when I use markdown syntax and it is
 converted to html.

 It happens with any number at the beginning, it does not matter if it is
 bullet point or sentence.

 I use most updated version of WP, so I think it happens.

 Do you want me to make some video?
