 A while ago, we've released 4.0.0-rc.1:
 https://blog.jquery.com/2025/08/11/jquery-4-0-0-release-candidate-1/.

 We haven't got any serious bug reports since that release, so we're
 preparing to release the final version, likely with few changes from the
 RC. That said, ticket #51812 needs to be addressed - removing jQuery
 Migrate 3.x - before the update to jQuery 4.x can be attempted.
