Fine to leave this keyword for now. This admittedly falls into a grey
area. It is a legitimate bug within WordPress, but it seems likely that it
will not require any changes to WordPress itself. But the ticket is
valuable for planning and tracking purposes.
Sometimes tickets like this are marked resolved as `fixed` with the same
commit that ends up attached to the library's update ticket. It can be
helpful to have a ticket that specifically describes the bug that was
fixed that is separate from the more general one. Let's continue to keep
this open for now to ensure it's not missed by the contributors that
eventually wrangle 6.9.1.
May be a good scenario to document in the handbook. I've added that to my
list to think this through a bit.
