 Hi @ucallrt and welcome to trac!

 I've tested this in Safari 18.0 on macOS Sonoma 14.7 without any plugins
 installed and am able to reproduce the error.

 I've been unable to find a change that may be causing the issue so am
 wondering if there is a bug in the new version of Safari.

 What version of Safari are you using?
