Comment:

 The PR already made the changes I requested months ago.

 However, I'll mark the ticket to request a decision whether the newer font
 files are an improvement overall.
 - Version 23 does not include 3 glyphs (Upwards Arrow, Downwards Arrow,
 Division Slash).
 - 9 of the glyphs are quite different (listed and shown in comment:34).

 Of course, anyone fetching from Google gets the newer version. And if
 version 23 had been the latest in January 2023, I would not know of any
 differences.
