 I tried searching for this and came up empty. I'm surprised that no one
 has run into this before ne.

 When an email contains "+" the email is not found and /wp-
 login.php?action=lostpassword return "Error: There is no account with that
 username or email address."

 For example: {MY_EMAIL_ADDRESS}**+1**@{HOST}.com
 This is a valid email address.
 I can login with this email address, I know that this email address
 exists. Logged in as another user I can send a password reset and it
 works.
 The only place this does not work is trying to reset the password on the
 forgotten password page.

 Latest version of WP, no plugins installed, using 2024 theme.
