Comment:

 Thanks for the suggestions. I've updated the PR to add a deprecation
 notice to the pattern and left the pattern file in place. Any sites
 currently using the pattern will still be able to access it, but the
 pattern will not show in the inserter any longer.

 This is ready for another review, thank you!

 I've added this to the 6.7 milestone, as it would be great to include this
 in the next release. cc @chaion07 @stoyangeorgiev
