 @barneysculptmonkey I tried replicating the issue using WordPress 6.5.3,
 no other plugins enabled, and using twenty twenty four, but the lightbox
 seems to be working as expected. See this:-

 To test if it's really the cache that's causing the issue, temporarily
 disable all of your plugins, including W3 Total Cache.

 Please also try to re-enable the "expand on click" feature in the style
