 This report validates that the issue can be reproduced.

 === Environment
 - Windows: Windows 11 Pro
 - Web Server: Nginx 1.22.0
 - PHP: 8.2.15
 - WordPress: 6.5.3
 - Browser: Chrome and Firefox
 - Theme: Twenty Twenty-Two
 - Active Plugins:
   - wordpress downgrade 1.2.6
   - Classic editor 1.6.3


 === Actual Results
 1.      Installed wp version 6.5.4 localy;
 2.      Downgrade to wp version 6.5.3 using plugin downgrade plugin
 3.      Created a page with password protection
 4.      Open the page and fill in the password, page is opening
 5.      Update wp to version 6.5.4 using plugin downgrade
 6.      Checked if I am able to open protected page (created in version
 6.5.3), working fine
 7.      Created a new page with password protection
 8.      Visiting new page , fill in password, all working fine
