Comment:

 WooCommerce product attribute slugs include a `pa_` prefix, which reduces
 the rather small 32-character limit WordPress has imposed since [5510].

 Related (but not duplicate):
 - #28058 involves encoded characters
 - #10483 and #54070 are similar requests to increase limits for
 `post_name` and `post_type`
