 Replying to [comment:19 derekpadula]:  I manually installed WP 6.5.4,
 disabled the auto update, verified the WP version on my site and the
 problem persists.  So it seems that something in the 6.5 update is still
 affecting my website.  I think I will request a backup from Jetpack to a
 date before the 6.5 update and see what happens.  If that fails.  I think
 I'm done here.
