 Sure, why not? I don‘t think the file size is an issue for something
 (maybe for updates?). Lazy loading can be done with a local file as well.

 Of course then you couldn’t update the files outside the release cycle.

 Do they need to be? Are they typically translated? How do other projects
 handle that?
