Comment:

 I have run into similar issues.

 Using Local, I started with an install of 6.2.2 with 2023 theme.

 I copied markdown from VS Code and pasted into new page.

 Editor displayed blocks as expected (headings, paragraphs, lists,
 blockquotes).

 I updated to 6.4.

 Everything displayed as expected.

 I updated theme.

 Everything displayed as expected.

 I created a new page.

 I copied markdown from VS Code and the editor displayed the raw markdown,
 not expected blocks.

 I deleted then pasted same markdown into Sublimetext then copied and
 pasted into editor.

 Blocks displayed as expected in editor.
