Comment:

 Reproduced the issue and removing `height: 100%` resolves it. I have been
 unable to identify any downsides to removing the 100% height. The cause of
 this bug is pretty murky; it seems to be related to the script/style
 insertion, but, like others, I'm unclear exactly how that has any impact.
 Marking this for commit.
