Comment:

 The [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/61842#comment:2 previous]
 reproduction report was unsuccessful because the JSON in the example above
 contained objects (`fuzzstring`) that couldn't be parsed.
 I tried without them, and now I can reproduce the issue.

 the PR. Thank you.
