Comment:

 I'd like to do this, ultimately - I think it would be a very useful
 feature to have behind a theme support flag, and could be a beneficial
 part of the accessibility ready program. However, there are a lot of
 complications, and I don't think it's something there's time for right
 now. The Gutenberg aspects could happen sooner; but having a global core
 option is a bit more significant to implement.
