 Hi @shilpaashokan94, welcome to Trac!

 I see that you were trying to disable plugins to test, but have you been
 able to verify the issue still happens with all plugins deactivated? I
 would also try the re-install button on the site.com/wp-admin/update-
 core.php page to download and install fresh copy of WordPress Core. It's
 possible something did not copy correctly during the last update.

 I'm going to close this one out because at the moment, this is more of a
 support request. Support requests are better suited for the
 [https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ WordPress.org Support Forums]. If
 you're able to identify steps that someone else can use to reliably
 reproduce the issue on a fresh install, feel free to reopen with more
 information.
