 @hellofromTonya as far as I can tell, the problem has to do with the
 encoding of the em-dash character (which occurs twice in the pattern).
 The other non-ASCII chars seem fine.  Why the em-dash is not encoded
 correctly when exporting from w/i the site editor I haven't yet been able
 to figure out.
