 @adamsilverstein Sounds encouraging, that's probably all we can ask there
 on the WordPress front (to support AVIF from ImageMagick, and rely on IM
 to output the file properly).

 A fairly robust way to test HDR output is to use Adobe's Gain Map Demo App
 (details and a demo late in my video here: https://gregbenzphotography.com
 /hdr-images/jpg-hdr-gain-maps-in-adobe-camera-raw/). There will be test in
 the right column stating if the image is detected as HDR. This should be
 robust for JPG gain maps and standard HDR AVIF (certainly for anything
 encoded by Adobe). Viewing in Chrome to compare to the source is also an
 excellent test, as it has robust support for a variety of HDR formats
 encoded as JPG / AVIF.
