Comment:

 After discussing with @davidbaumwald and @SergeyBiryukov, we decided no
 changes are needed in `$_old_files`.

 Why?

 The Requests library's old files are merged into the `$_old_files` array
 in `update_core()`. Therefore, we do not see a reason to duplicate the
 files where the array is initialized.

 For now, I'm closing this ticket as `wontfix`, meaning the Requests files
 are not being added to `$_old_files` array.

 However, if there are reports of issues where an external script is used
 the `$_old_files` global, then this ticket will be reopened for
 addressing.
