 I've pulled the changes out of https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/pull/3535 and submitted them to https://github.com/WordPress
 /wordpress-develop/pull/4905, @hellofromTonya.
 Please let me know whether you prefer keeping magic methods and adding
 `doing_it_wrong()` calls OR removing magic methods altogether.
