Comment:

 There was [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/51964 a PR] in this
 regard, but it has been discarded. There is no consensus on whether the
 proposed change improves the experience in the current Site Editor status,
 so the Styles section in the sidebar will remain as-is for 6.3 and will be
 iterated on in the upcoming releases (e.g., adding font management?).
