 @azaozz @oglekler I've added some more test cases to
 [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/pull/4647 PR 4647] which
 protect the new behaviour. You can test ideas for alternative
 implementation locally with `vendor/bin/phpunit --group 35755` (or `npm
 run test:php -- --group 35755` if you're using wp-env).
