Comment:

 As [https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/CULBN711P/p1671556005777899
 discussed in Slack] and posted on #56057 a couple of weeks ago, I don't
 think this is a suitable filter for Core.

 It provides no general purpose benefit to theme and plugin developers.

 Please use the custom actions hooks for testing the rollback plugin. I'm
 going to close this off as wontfix and the snowflake code to revert the
 callable sniff can be reverted on the original ticket.
