 rendered on the site where this bug occurs?

 A few more specific questions:
 * Are you using blocks for the excerpt?
 * Does some part of the theme or a plugin on your site call
 `the_content()` or `get_the_content()` for each of these posts?

 As mentioned above, I have been unable to replicate this bug without
 additional detail. The more information you can share on this, the better.
