 @cadic Didn't say it was a performance issue.

 This check mirrors [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/blob/0cfcb3e2722bf967cd44ef8d999f6fbc14a95891/src/wp-
 includes/post.php#L4569-L4575 this].  A developer could filter
 `wp_get_audio_extensions` or `wp_get_video_extensions`. So we have to use
 `wp_attachment_is`.
