 Oh wow, so surely that means that the italic Block tool uses the wrong
 element and should be using `i` rather than `em`?

 And yes, agreed, in the context of emphasis, removing italics would indeed
 create emphasis in the context of the existing default italicised image
 block captions in this theme.
