 There's also a file with `ABSPATH . "/`.

 I have created #57074 with a patch.

 Nice find, @emanuelx! As there's nothing left to do in this ticket and as
 the reported behavior turned out to not be a problem in WP Core, I'll
 resolve this ticket as `invalid` which is just the term used here for such
 cases.
