 With the [https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2022/05/apple-google-and-
 microsoft-commit-to-expanded-support-for-fido-standard/ recent news] that
 Apple, Google, Microsoft, and more are committing to the
 [https://fidoalliance.org/ FIDO] standard for passwordless authentication,
 does it make sense for WordPress core to introduce support for FIDO at
 some point?
