Comment:

 The milestone for this one was lost along the way. Re-adding.

 I'm also going to add a `close` suggestion. It's been 7 years, and no
 strong use cases have been presented, so thinking a `maybelater` would be
 appropriate here.

 I'll leave this open for a few more months to see if anyone wants to weigh
 in with any details or interest and I'll return to close it out if nothing
 is added.
