Comment:

 Updating the version to 3.7, as this code was introduced then by #22704
 and changesets:

 * [25700] introduced this code.
 * [25764] added the `@` error suppression to `is_dir()` to
 [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/22704#comment:103 address the same
 issue] being reported here in this ticket.

 Also updating the ticket's status and keywords. Will leave to the
 Component maintainers to review `Awaiting Review` and whether to consider
 or reclose.

 >I'm unsure why WordPress would want to access these directories.
