 Just to clarify, the `wp_list_authors_args` filter that was requested here
 has not been added yet, so the ticket is not addressed. Another
 (unrelated) filter was added in [53486] and removed in [53501] in favor of
 a translatable string.

 I think [attachment:"17025.13.diff"] should address this ticket. I can
 work on it after 6.0.1 RC1 ships later today :)
