 @maximej I've just updated your pull request to resolve some merge
 conflicts.

 I've put this on the milestone for the next major version of WordPress.

 Do you know which version of the LSAPI removed the
 `fastcgi_finish_request()` alias? It's not in the release log and I am
 wondering if there was a bug with ending requests early that the
 developers were avoiding.
