I'm testing the WP 5.9 RC1 version on the staging website of one of my
clients. When I open the page editor, the text on the Cover block is now
black by default (instead of white) and isn't readable anymore. It happens
for the majority of the images (the overlay opacity is set to 50). My
client's site would require changing manually the text color on hundreds
 of cover images.

You can reproduce the issue by inserting a Cover block. Example of one of
 the images I'm using:

The issue can be replicated using the Twenty Twenty theme. I've also
tested with the new Twenty Twenty-Two theme, and the same issue happens.
