 Hello, I cannot replicate this. I uploaded an animated webp just fine. Did
 you try with plugins disabled and a standard theme (twenty XY)? Please
 provide steps to replicate the issue, if so. Di you get any error
 messages? I'm closing the file but feel free to reopen.
