Comment:
For many millions of WordPress users, creating a child theme will NEVER
suit their needs. The audience for TRAC is mostly developers, and it's
easy to fail to consider the needs of the vast majority of people trying
to use WordPress, who have no idea how nor willingness to write a line of
code. These are the people I work with every day, and for these people,
Full Site Editing in its current incarnation is a step backwards in terms
of getting the site to look the way they want.
I understand this is "working as designed". I feel the design is flawed.
