 When you edit an entry in the Media Library the "Alternative Text" input
 has a description that helps interpret how the contents of that input will
 be used.

 Title, Description, and Caption however offer no such clues. It is
 consequently unclear how important they are. A short description and/or
 link to [https://wordpress.org/support/article/media-library-screen
 /#attachment-details documentation] could help clear things up for folks.
