 Hello
 This problem is still happening (WordPress 6.0.1) and I experienced EXACLY
 like the thing that @esemlabel mentioned at first and I've also done the
 var_dump thing and saw that is correct but in ajax, it isn't.
 The code at the [comment:3 #3 comment], solved my problem and I suggest
 that you add it to WordPress core.
