Comment:

 I've opened a PR at https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/pull/2650 which uses the https://hub.docker.com/r/amd64/mysql/ and
 https://hub.docker.com/r/amd64/mariadb/ images on arm64 machines instead
 of using the `--platform` property. Tested and working for me on an M1
 MacBook Pro, would appreciate testing from others.
